The purpose of this film was to demonstrate that the drivers who work with Uber love the empowering freedom and flexibility Uber gives them to be able to fit their work into their busy lives. Further, to show that Uber is a good employer which inspires loyalty in its partners through this flexibility and through the many benefits on offer.
We wanted the film to inspire warmth and empathy in our audience as they connect with Adeyinka’s story and relate to the challenges he faces in juggling his work, family, obligations and passion and points, as well as satisfaction and positivity as they see how his work with Uber enables him to do this.
This film was used as part of a social media campaign for Uber and the Times called “Driving My Life”

As a Formula One fan, there’s been nothing more rewarding than my small contributions to SENNA. While in-house at Working Title Films, I was fortunate enough to join regular screenings of the film as it worked it’s way down from a 5 hour edit to the final film – proving notes to the producer of the course of the edit.
Ayrton Senna’s remarkable story, charting his physical and spiritual achievements on the track and off, his quest for perfection, and the mythical status he has since attained, is the subject of SENNA, a documentary feature that spans the racing legend’s years as an F1 driver, from his opening season in 1984 to his untimely death a decade later. Far more than a film for F1 fans, SENNA unfolds a remarkable story in a remarkable manner, eschewing many standard documentary techniques in favour of a more cinematic approach that makes full use of astounding footage, much of which is drawn from F1 archives and is previously unseen.

While also working as an independent producer, I was the digital producer for Al Jazeera English’s weekly media critique and analysis show, the Listening Post. We took a deep dive into global news stories, and how the media report them. This included working across topics like Wikileaks, Edward Snowden leaks, Egypt and the Arab Spring. I created content for online, and primarily assisted with edits and research. One highlight included filming Julian Assange inside the Ecuadorian Embassy one week prior to the Edward Snowden leaks.
